  • Brakes#2017667

    2 units affected

On certain motorhomes, the antilock brake system hydraulic electronic control unit (HECU) may have missing valve block ball plugs. This could cause fluid leaks or air ingress during braking, potentially increasing brake pedal travel and/or stopping distances. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Ford dealers will inspect the HECU for missing plugs and replace as necessary.

  • Electrical#2017651

    212 units affected

On certain motorhomes, there may be a loose electrical connection to the automatic transfer switch (ATS) that was not properly tightened. If the power connection is loose, it could result in a build up of heat at the connection, which could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the electrical connections and perform repairs as necessary.

  • Accessories#2017635

    3,664 units affected

On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly.
