Issue: On certain motorcycles, the rear shock absorber bushings may not have been installed. As a result, the shock absorber could break and separate from its mount, and cause a sudden loss of control. Safety Risk: A shock absorber that separates from its mount could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Moto Guzzi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect the rear shock absorber. If the mounting bushings are missing, the shock absorber will be replaced.
