Transport Canada recalls

02
  • Fuel System#2018446

    1,291 units affected

On certain vehicles, a crash protection plate was not installed beside the high pressure fuel pump in the engine compartment. In the event of a severe crash, the high pressure fuel pump could become damaged and cause a fuel leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install the missing crash protection plate.

  • Airbag#2016632

    485 units affected

Certain vehicles may have been equipped with airbag inflators that do not meet specifications. This could cause affected airbags to fail to deploy properly in the event of a crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the occupants. Correction: Dealers will replace affected airbag modules. Note: Depending on the vehicle in question, the front passenger, knee, side or curtain airbag modules may be affected.
