Issue: On certain trailers equipped with a Dexter Smart-Steer 2.0 self-steering axle, the bolts that attach the steer arm to the knuckle could break. If this happens, the steer arm or the bolts could detach from the trailer. Safety Risk: Parts that detach from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Midland Manufacturing will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a Dexter Canada authorized service facility to weld the steer arms to the knuckles.

On certain gravel trailers equipped with a Dura Flip tarp, some components of the tarp's rear lock assembly could loosen and fall off. Items separating from the vehicle could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Owners should immediately stop using the affected Dura Flip tarps and contact Michel's Industries at 1-306-366-2184 for further information and to obtain a repair kit.
