Issue: On certain buses, the anchor screw caps for the wheelchair restraint system may not have been installed properly. As a result, the tie-downs may not lock correctly and could detach in a crash. Note: This recall only affects certain buses equipped with a Q'Straint Slide N' Click wheelchair restraint system. Safety Risk: Tie-downs that detach in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, secure the anchor screw caps for the wheelchair restraint system. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed at a Micro Bird dealership.

Issue: On certain buses, the power cable for the air conditioning control board may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the cable could loosen and overheat. Note: This recall only affects certain buses equipped with a Spheros ceiling-mounted air conditioning system. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a dealership to secure the air conditioning control board power cable.

Issue: On certain buses, under certain conditions, the ignition interlock system may not work properly. As a result, you may be able to start the engine even if the rear emergency door is locked. Safety Risk: A locked emergency door could delay passengers from leaving the bus in an emergency. This could create a risk of injury. Corrective Action: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a dealership to repair the ignition interlock system.
