    Issue: On certain electric vehicles, the wheel bolts may not have been tightened properly. Over time, the wheel bolts could loosen and cause a loss of vehicle stability. Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle stability could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the wheel bolts.

    Issue: On one vehicle, the short-range sensor in the front bumper may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, some driver assistance systems may not work, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and active lane keeping assist. Safety Risk: Driver assistance systems that don't work properly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a dealership to replace the short-range sensor.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem in the electronic stability program (ESP) control unit could cause ESP warning messages not to meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. This could also cause the malfunction indicator light not to turn on in certain conditions. Safety Risk: Warning messages that don't meet the requirements could create confusion and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the ESP control unit software.
