  • Visual System#2021291

    40,646 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the central display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If the update cannot be completed successfully, you will be notified to schedule an appointment to have the update performed by a dealer.

  • Accessories#2021041

    41,731 units affected

Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. • Seats And Restraints#2019554

    3,569 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the front seat belt buckles. This could cause the seat belt warnings to turn on, even if the front seat belts are buckled. If the driver ignores these warnings, the PRE-SAFE and airbag systems may not function properly. Safety Risk: A seat belt pretensioner or airbag system that does not work properly in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to check the front seat belt buckles and replace them if necessary.

  • Airbag#2018410

    32 units affected

On certain cars, the airbag system may not turn off the airbag when a child seat is used in the front passenger seat. In the event of a crash with an airbag deployment, this could create a risk of injury to a child. Correction: Dealers will replace the passenger seat cushion. Note: Child seats should not be used in the front passenger seat until the recall is completed.
