    18 units affected

Issue: A small number of vacuum excavator trailers are missing the tire placard. As a result, information such as tire size, rim size and tire inflation pressure may not be easily accessible. This could lead you to inflate the tires incorrectly or install the wrong wheels and tires. These errors could lead to poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will mail tire placards to each owner. If you would like help to install the placard, you can contact a Vermeer dealership to have it installed.

  • Lights And Instruments#2019646

    4 units affected

Issue: Certain vacuum excavator trailers may be missing side and rear reflectors and/or some trailers may be missing side and rear reflective tape. Canadian regulations require trailers to have these reflectors. Safety Risk: A trailer with missing reflectors is less visible to others and could create an increased risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and supply the necessary parts and instructions. Owners will be instructed to take their trailer to a dealer to add the required reflective tape and reflectors.
