Transport Canada recalls

01
  • Lights And Instruments#2025275

    1,289 units affected

Issue: Under certain conditions, a software problem in the dynamic stability control (DSC) unit could cause the traction control system (TCS) / DSC indicator light not to turn on. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: An indicator that doesn't turn on could cause you not to be aware of a problem with the TCS/DSC system. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mazda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the DSC unit with an improved part.
