Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mazda advises that you should refuel before the fuel gauge reaches ¼ level until the recall repairs have been completed. Mazda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the body control module software.

Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mazda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the inverter software.

  • Electrical#2024659

    12,661 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a software problem with the dash electrical supply unit. Safety Risk: A windshield defroster and/or a 360-degree view monitor that doesn't work could cause reduced visibility and increase the risk of a crash. A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly may not remind you and/or passengers to buckle your seat belt. Not wearing your seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Mazda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the dash electrical supply unit software.

  • Engine#2024657

    6,222 units affected
