04- Lights And Instruments#2014146
5,990 units affected
On certain vehicles, the directional/hazard signal flasher may fail. Actuation of the turn signal or hazard lights in this condition would cause them to remain illuminated and not flash as intended. As a result, drivers may not be able to clearly signal their intentions to turn, change lanes or warn others in an emergency situation. Correction: Dealers will replace the turn signal/hazard flasher module.
- Suspension#2012065
182 units affected
On certain trucks, the front axle beam may have been manufactured incorrectly. In certain application the load on the axle could allow stress cracks to form which, over time, may cause the axle beam to fail. This could result in a vehicle crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the axle beam.
- Steering#2011262
154 units affected
On certain trucks, the steering gear mounting bolts may not have received adequate tightening torque during vehicle assembly. Should the bolts loosen, the steering gear could separate from its mounting bracket, which may affect steering performance. A loss of steering control could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the steering gear mounting bolts.
- Electrical#2011148
109 units affected
On certain vehicles, the rearview mirror switch (mounted on the dashboard) may overheat, causing the plastic to melt. An overheated switch may not allow rearview mirror remote adjustability and, as such, the driver may not have full use of the mirrors. In addition, excessive heat can cause smoke within the instrument panel, which could distract the vehicle operator and result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the rearview mirror switch and install a relay wiring harness. Switches that show signs of overheating will be replaced.

02- SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK#25V030000
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2010-2018 MRU and 2019-2025 Terrapro towing vehicles. The vehicles are missing the anti-lock brake (ABS) warning light and circuitry that controls the anti-lock brake function for an attached trailer. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Risk: Driving without a functioning anti-lock brake system may result in the trailer not braking as intended, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will add an ABS warning light and circuitry, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0474.
- PARKING BRAKE#21V953000
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2008-2019 TerraPro (MRU) and 2019-2022 TerraPro (TE) vehicles. A brake control valve air leak into the attached exhaust hose can create excessive back pressure, causing the parking brake to release unexpectedly.
Risk: The unexpected release of the parking brake may allow the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will remove the exhaust tube and fitting from the valve, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 8, 2022. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0433.
