    Issue: Under certain conditions, the throttle may not return to idle. As a result, the trucks don't meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Note: This recall only affects electric trucks. Safety Risk: A throttle that doesn't return to idle could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the electronic control unit software.

U.S. NHTSA recalls

  • SEAT BELTS#25V333000

    Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2026 Mack MD vehicles. The center bench seat belt assembly may be routed incorrectly.

    Risk: An incorrectly routed seat belt assembly may not restrain an occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 3, 2025. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0478.
