Issue: On certain trucks, the center roof marker light connector(s) may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the center roof marker light(s) may not work. Safety Risk: A roof marker light that doesn't work could make the truck less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the center roof marker light(s).

Issue: On certain trucks, the wheel nut(s) could loosen and cause the wheel(s) to detach. Safety Risk: A wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a wheel that separates could create a road hazard for others. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mack advises you not to drive your truck until the recall repairs have been completed. Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a dealership to arrange for an inspection of the wheels and hubs. Any damaged parts will be replaced.

As a result, the rear brake modulator(s) could short circuit and cause a loss of antilock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC). Safety Risk: A loss of ABS and ESC could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear brake modulator(s). The dealer will also install a cover on the connector(s).

Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mack advises you to test the trailer turn signals before driving, until the recall repairs are completed. The dealer will add additional fasteners and a reinforcement plate as needed.

If this occurs, it could result in a loss of exterior lighting of the truck and trailer, a loss of certain dash lighting, and the windshield wipers to stop functioning. These conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace and reprogram the light control module.
