    Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Note: This problem would cause a "Camera Error. Turn your vehicle off and on again" message to be displayed. This recall only affects vehicles equipped with the optional DreamDrive Pro package. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lucid will notify owners by mail. Lucid has sent a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If you haven't yet accepted the software update, Lucid encourages you to do so. If you need assistance with this update, you should contact Lucid customer care or a Lucid service center. There is no further action needed if your vehicle has software version 2.8.17 or a later release.

    Issue: This recall is for certain all-weather floor mats that were sold as a Lucid genuine accessory. On certain vehicles, the accelerator pedal could get stuck on the floor mat. If this happens, the vehicle may not slow down when you release the accelerator pedal. Note: This recall is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: A stuck accelerator pedal could cause an unintended acceleration and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Lucid advises you to remove the driver's all-weather floor mat. Lucid will notify owners by email and provide you with instructions for how to inspect the all-weather floor mats. You should contact Lucid customer care or a Lucid service center if you would like help inspecting the all-weather floor mats. Lucid will reimburse owners of the affected all-weather floor mats.

Safety Risk: A windshield defroster that doesn't work may cause reduced visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lucid will notify owners by email and send a wireless over-the-air software update. This software will monitor the HVCH and warn you if it detects a problem. A Lucid service center will replace the HVCH, if necessary.

As a result, the rear heated seats could stay on, even if they get too hot. Note: This problem could cause the seats to become discolored or charred. If you need assistance with this update, you should contact Lucid Customer Care or a Lucid service center.     Issue: On certain vehicles, the inverter power module could fail. If this happens, the drive motor could shut down without warning and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lucid will notify owners by mail and provide instructions for how to install a software update. If you need assistance with this update, you should contact Lucid Customer Care or a Lucid service center. The software update will prevent the drive motor from shutting down without warning if the inverter power module fails. There is no further action needed if your vehicle has software version 2.0.66 or a later release.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Lucid has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.

    Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the wiring for the center and left driver displays could be damaged by contact with the steering shaft. If this happens, the speedometer, gear selection indicators, tell-tales and certain other in-vehicle notifications may not display. Safety Risk: A speedometer, gear selection indicators, tell-tales and other in-vehicle notifications that do not display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lucid will notify owners by email and instruct you to contact a Lucid Service Center or Lucid Customer Care to schedule inspection and securing of the wiring harness. Replacement of a wiring harness, if necessary, will be scheduled for a Lucid Service Center visit.

  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE#26V540000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Air vehicles. The exterior lighting circuit may have insufficient overcurrent protection, allowing the circuit to overheat.

    Risk: An overheated circuit increases the risk of a fire. A loss of the center brake light or front lights can also decrease visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Owners are advised to park their vehicle outside and away from structures until the recall remedy is completed. Lucid has released an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 16, 2026. Owners may contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-26-06-0.

  • BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE#26V017000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Air vehicles equipped with an AD02 package and operating a software version from 2.8.0 through 2.8.16. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

    Risk: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Lucid has released an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2026. Owners may contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-26-01-0.

  • BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE#25V670000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Air vehicles operating a software version prior to 2.8.0. The lower console display may fail to show a rearview camera image or may show a delayed, inaccurate image of what is behind the vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

    Risk: A rearview image that does not appear or fails to accurately depict behind the vehicle increases the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Lucid has released an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 3, 2025. Owners may contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-25-04-0. The information in your report suggests that Lucid may have been aware of this issue more than five business days before filing a report with NHTSA.   • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:TRACTION BATTERY THERMAL:MANAGEMENT:SOFTWARE#24V497000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Air vehicles. When a hardware communication fault is detected, the High Voltage Interlock (HVIL) software could disconnect the high voltage contactors while the vehicle is in motion, causing a loss of drive power.

    Risk: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Lucid released an over-the-air (OTA) software update June 24, 2024, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 5, 2024. Owners may contact Lucid customer service at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-24-03-0.

  • VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM#24V495000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Air vehicles. The high voltage coolant heater may fail to defrost the windshield.

    Risk: A high voltage coolant heater that fails to defrost the windshield can reduce the driver's view, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Lucid has released an over-the-air software update to identify a high voltage coolant heater failure and provide a warning to the driver. High voltage coolant heaters that fail will be replaced. Software updates and repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 5, 2024.   • FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL:SOFTWARE#24V076000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Air vehicles running software release versions 2.1.2 through 2.1.26. The software may cause a fault while the adaptive cruise control is on, resulting in a loss of drive power.

    Risk: A sudden loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Lucid released an over-the-air (OTA) software update in October 2023, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 8, 2024. Owners may contact Lucid customer service at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-24-02-0.

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Lucid Air vehicles. Under certain conditions, temperature monitoring for the rear seat heaters could become inoperative and result in the rear seats overheating.

    Risk: Overheated rear seats can increase the risk of a burn injury.

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Air vehicles with a software version between 2.015 and 2.0.50. The rearview camera image may fail to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

    Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display while in reverse decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

  • VISIBILITY/WIPER#23V521000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Air vehicles. The wiper arm nuts may loosen, causing the windshield wipers to fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 104, "Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems."

    Risk: Inoperative windshield wipers can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Air vehicles. Software versions 2.0.64 and older may not respond properly to an inverter power module failure, which can result in a loss of drive power without warning.

    Risk: A loss of drive power without warning increases the risk of a crash.

  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:FUSES, RELAYS, CONTACTS, AND SHUNTS#23V110000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Air vehicles. The electrically activated contact switches that transfer energy to the drive motors, may unexpectedly open, cutting off power to the electric motors.

    Risk: Power loss will shut down electric motors, causing a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Lucid Service Centers will update the vehicle software and replace the contactor switches, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 21, 2023. Owners may contact Lucid customer service at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-23-01-0.

  • STRUCTURE:FRAME AND MEMBERS#22V727000

    Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022 Lucid Air vehicles. The front tow eye bracket may be inadequately attached to the subframe and can detach during towing.

    Risk: A detached tow eye bracket can separate the vehicle from the tow truck, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Lucid Service Centers will inspect the subframe and add rivets to the tow eye bracket as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 14, 2022. Owners may contact Lucid customer service at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-22-02-0.

  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL#22V351000

    Lucid Motors, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022 Air vehicles (all grades). The display wiring harness may not be secured properly, which can disable the display screens. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Control and Displays."

    Risk: Disabled display screens will not show critical information, such as the speedometer, gear selection indicators, and warning lights, which can increase the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and secure the wiring harness, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 26, 2022. Owners may contact Lucid customer service at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is NCR-22-01-0.

  • SUSPENSION:FRONT#22V090000

    Lucid Motors, Inc. (Lucid Motors) is recalling certain 2022 Air vehicles. The snap ring below the front strut damper may fail, resulting in a sudden drop in ride height or front brake line damage.

    Risk: A sudden drop in ride height while driving can cause a loss of vehicle control. In addition, brake line damage can result in a loss of brake function. Either of these scenarios increases the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Lucid Studios or satellite service centers will inspect and replace the front strut dampers, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 24, 2022.
