    Issue: Under certain conditions, the high-voltage fuse could blow. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the rear wheel, and you may not be able to restart the motorcycle. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the rear wheel could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: LiveWire Motorcycles will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the high-voltage fuse for the high-voltage system.

U.S. NHTSA recalls

  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:FUSES, RELAYS, CONTACTS, AND SHUNTS#24V601000

    LiveWire EV, LLC (LiveWire) is recalling certain 2024 S2 Del Mar and S2 Mulholland motorcycles. The high voltage fuse may degrade and unexpectedly open, resulting in a loss of drive power.

    Risk: Unexpected loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will install a high voltage fuse with an increased amperage rating, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 2024. Owners may contact LiveWire customer service at 1-855-387-4337. LiveWire's number for this recall is 1003.
