  • Seats And Restraints#2026095

    76 units affected

Under certain conditions, if the driver's seat is moved and detects an obstruction, the automatic reversal system may cause the seat to move all the way back on the seat track. If this happens, it could cause a loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the seat control module software.

  • Lights And Instruments#2026079

    627,267 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem with the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may cause the trailer lights not to work when towing. This problem could also cause the trailer brakes not to work on certain vehicles. Note: This problem would cause a "Trailer brake module fault" message to be displayed and turn signal telltale to flash rapidly. This recall also affects certain Super Duty incomplete vehicles. Safety Risk: Trailer lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible and cause following drivers not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the ITRM software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.

U.S. NHTSA recalls

  • SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:POWER ADJUST#26V120000

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2026 Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The obstacle detection software for the driver seat may malfunction at low speeds, resulting in the seat reversing unexpectedly while driving.

Risk: Unexpected movement of the driver’s seat may affect the driver’s ability to control the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: The seat control module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S11. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on March 5, 2026.

  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL#26V104000

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2026 F-150, 2022-2026 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, Maverick, 2024-2026 Ranger, 2023-2026 F-600 SD, 2022-2027 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, and 2026 E-Transit vehicles. When towing a trailer, the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may lose communication with the vehicle, possibly causing a loss of brake and turn signal lights, or a loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, " Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Trailer lights or brakes that do not function can reduce the driver’s ability to control the trailer and decrease the trailers visibility to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: The integrated trailer module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 25, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26C10. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning March 17, 2026.
