Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the combination meter in the instrument cluster not to display when the vehicle is started. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including warning lights and malfunction tell-tales. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 12.3-inch display. Safety Risk: Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the combination meter software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a dealership.

Issue: On certain vehicles, some of the wires within the engine wiring harness may have been routed incorrectly. Over time, the wiring could become damaged by movement and vibrations. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the engine wiring harness.
