Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a 3.4L twin-turbo engine. This recall replaces Transport Canada recall No. 2025-614. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the No. 1 main bearing for abnormal wear and, if necessary, replace the engine.

As a result, the airbag system can turn off the passenger-front airbag even when a passenger is seated. Safety Risk: An airbag system that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Lexus recommends that you shouldn't transport a passenger in the front passenger seat until the recall repairs have been completed. Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front passenger seat frame assembly.
