Issue: On certain motorhomes, heat shields may be missing behind the refrigerator. As a result, when the refrigerator is running on propane, the wood frame behind it could overheat and be charred by exhaust. Safety Risk: A wood frame that overheats could catch fire. Corrective Actions: Triple E will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for ordering a fridge recall kit, free of charge. You will be instructed to take your motorhome to a dealer or RV service center to have the heat shields installed. To reduce the safety risk, Triple E recommends that you should turn off the propane until the recall repairs have been completed.

Certain motorhomes may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The tail lamp clearance bulb light output may be less than what is allowable by the standard. This could render the vehicle less visible to other motorists, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace tail lamp clearance bulbs.
