Issue: On certain travel trailers or campers equipped with a Dometic propane gas stove, there could be an odour of propane gas after a short period of use. If a user attempts to tighten the bolt for the stove's valve in order to stop the smell, they could over-tighten the bolt and cause damage to a seal. This can result in a constant gas leak. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Action: Lance Camper will contact all owners to advise you of this problem. The corrective actions for this recall are not yet available. The company will contact you with further information once a recall repair is available. If you smell propane gas inside your trailer, you should evacuate the trailer and turn off the gas supply immediately.

Issue: On certain truck campers, when the bunk bed is folded down into the sleeping position, there is a gap between the bed frame and the window. As a result, a small child could fall or become stuck in this area. Safety Risk: If a child falls or becomes stuck, there could be a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and provide them with a warning label to apply in the bunk area. The warning will state: "To help prevent fatal or serious injuries from entrapment or falls, never allow a child under six years old on the bunk." Owners who would like help installing the label can contact a Lance Camper dealer.
