Certain travel trailers were built with sofas that may prohibit the visibility of the rear window exit label and/or restrict access to and the operation of the emergency exit window handle. On certain motorhomes, the HSM Quad Steps rivets that hold the steps together may loosen and fail. If the rivets fail the steps could collapse causing a person to fall resulting in injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the rivets with shoulder bolts. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2015-124.

  • Structure#2016621

    13 units affected

On certain travel trailers, the hinge assemblies of the rear cargo door may have been manufactured incorrectly. The weld on the hinge assembly had been ground down during manufacturing to ensure clearance when installed on a door. The grinding of the weld weakened the joint, and as a result, if the door were to be opened and the hinge assembly were to fail, the door could come down with more force than normal, increasing the risk of injury to a person standing nearby. Correction: Dealers will inspect the hinge assembly and replace as necessary.
