Issue: On certain RV trailers, the quick disconnect fittings for the propane (LP) gas system may be defective. As a result, the fittings could crack and leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: KZ RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the quick disconnect fittings on the propane system and perform a leak test.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the propane (LP) regulator could fail. If this happens, high-pressure propane could reach the appliances. Note: This recall only affects trailers equipped with a Winntec model 6020 propane regulator. Safety Risk: Unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire. Corrective Action: KZ RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer, to replace the propane (LP) regulator.

Issue: Certain travel trailers were built with too little tongue weight. This could affect how the trailer tows and may make towing difficult. As a result, the trailer may sway while being towed, which could cause a loss of control. Safety Risk: A trailer that sways could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: KZRV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to have weight added to the trailer tongue.
