On certain track conversion kits, sold as aftermarket components designed to be installed on an off-road motorcycle to allow for winter use, ice buildup on the brake rotor could cause damage to the brake pad retention pin. This could affect braking system function, extending stopping distances and increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. On certain motorcycles, the moulded fuel hoses could tear at a radius or the ends of the hose. This could result in a fuel leak. Leaking fuel in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel hose with an upgraded hose.

On certain motorcycles, the front wheel spokes may have been damaged during manufacturing. This could lead to individual or multiple spokes breaking, and in some cases could result in the front wheel collapsing. This could result in a loss of steering control, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the front wheel spokes with upgraded spokes.

On certain motorcycles, inner front fork components may not have been tightened properly. This could allow the inner front fork to become loose and cause the suspension to stick. Should the suspension become stuck, this could affect the vehicle handling and lead to a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, tighten the loose components.

On certain motorcycles, the handlebar clamps may crack, allow the handlebar to move from its set position. This could result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the handlebar clamps with updated versions.
