    Issue: On certain motorcycles, a problem with rev limiter in the capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) box could cause the engine connecting rod to break. This could cause a sudden engine failure with an inability to restart. Safety Risk: An engine failure could increase the risk of a crash or injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the CDI box.
