    Issue : On certain RV trailers,the shock bolts may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the bolts could loosen or break. If this happens, there could be a loss of vehicle stability. Note: This recall only affects certain trailers equipped with Curt touring coil suspensions. Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle stability could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the shock bolts.

U.S. NHTSA recalls

  • SUSPENSION:FRONT:SPRINGS:COIL SPRINGS#26V313000

    Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2024 Cougar, 2025-2026 Alpine, 2026 Montana, and Walkabout recreational trailers. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.

    Risk: Loose shock bolts may cause a loss of vehicle stability, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 1, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-483.
