Issue : On certain RV trailers,the shock bolts may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the bolts could loosen or break. If this happens, there could be a loss of vehicle stability. Note: This recall only affects certain trailers equipped with Curt touring coil suspensions. Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle stability could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the shock bolts.

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the underbelly may not have been properly secured to the frame. As a result, the underbelly could loosen and detach from the trailer while driving and cause a loss of control Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, an underbelly that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: None of the affected trailers have been delivered to customers. Keystone will instruct dealers to install reinforcements to the drop-down section of the frame before the trailers are delivered.

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the wiring for the slide-out bedroom may not be secured properly. As a result, when the bedroom slide-out extends or retracts, the wiring could become damaged and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Action: None of the affected trailers have been delivered to customers. Keystone will instruct dealers to inspect and, if necessary, secure and repair the slide-out bedroom wiring. To reduce the safety risk, Keystone advises you not to use the slide-out bedroom until the recall repairs have been completed.

U.S. NHTSA recalls
03- SUSPENSION:FRONT:SPRINGS:COIL SPRINGS#26V313000
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2024 Cougar, 2025-2026 Alpine, 2026 Montana, and Walkabout recreational trailers. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.
Risk: Loose shock bolts may cause a loss of vehicle stability, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 1, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-483.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2026 Montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The underbelly may be improperly secured, causing it to detach.
Risk: A detached underbelly can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install C-channels and I-beams to secure the underbelly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 15, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-482. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 28, 2026.
- ELECTRICAL SYSTEM#26V161000
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2026 Montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The 12-volt and 120-volt wiring may be improperly secured. The wires may be pinched and damaged when the bedroom slide-out moves.
Risk: Damaged wiring may cause an electrical fault, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will properly secure the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 14, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-480. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 15, 2026.
