Issue: On certain RV trailers, the circuit board for the LED light rings on the cooktop knobs could fail. As a result, the wiring and/or LED lights could overheat and melt. Note: This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with certain Suburban cooktops. Safety Risk: Wiring and/or lights that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to disable or remove the LED light rings. To reduce the safety risk, Keystone recommends that you should disconnect the power for your trailer when it's not used and not to use the cooktop until the recall repairs are completed.
- Tires#2022056
5 units affected
Issue: Certain RV trailers were built with tires that may have a defect. As a result, the tire tread and belts could separate. If this happens, the tire could fail and suddenly lose air pressure. Note: This recall only affects trailers equipped with certain ST235/80R16 G tires. The tires are marked with plant code 1YJ, and within the date code range of 2020 - 4120. If you have tires with a different date code, please also see Transport Canada recall 2021-729. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail to advise you of this problem. You should contact an authorized Sailun Tire dealer if you have tires manufactured within these date ranges or if you need help inspecting them. All tires affected by this recall will be replaced.
- Electrical#2021315
159 units affected
Issue: On certain RV trailers, the slide room wiring connectors for the 120-V AC system were not installed correctly. As a result, the connectors can get wet and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Action: Keystone RV will contact owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer to a dealer to inspect the slide room wiring connectors and install them correctly. Keystone RV recommends that, until this inspection is completed, you should turn off the power circuits in the slide room after driving in the rain or if you use the trailer in a wet climate.
