    On certain vehicles, the cruise control SET decrease speed button (-) on the steering wheel will increase rather than decrease the vehicle’s speed when pressed. A single press of the button will increase the speed by 1.6 km/h, a sustained press of the button will cause the speed to increase until the button is released. Unexpected increase in vehicle speed could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will flash the cab controller with updated software.

    On certain trucks equipped with Sure Power power distribution modules, excessive play in electrical connections may result in unexpected loss of exterior lighting, anti-lock braking system and/or windshield wipers, as well as engine shutdown. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Owners will be instructed to install nylon tie wraps to temporarily secure electrical connectors. Once repair parts become available, dealers will install connector securement devices.

    On certain vehicles equipped with Sure Power battery equalizers and/or convertors, the equalizer and/or convertor could develop an internal short circuit, resulting in a risk of overheating, smoke and/or fire. This may result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Delaers will replace affected converters and/or equalizers.
