On certain motorcycles, the ignition switch wires could chafe against the bottom of the fuel tank creating an electrical short. This could cause the engine to stall without warning resulting in a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the ignition switch for damaged wires and replace them as necessary. Additional shielding and padding will be installed.
