    Issue: On certain motorcycles, the spark plugs may have been damaged during production. This could lead to an unstable idle, engine hesitation or the engine could stall. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the spark plugs.

    Issue: On certain motorcycles, the bolt for the alternator rotor may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the alternator rotor could loosen and cause the engine to stall while riding. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power can create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and re-tighten the alternator rotor bolt.
