    2,147 units affected

Issue: On certain side-by-side UTV's, the connection between the steering shaft and steering gear could wear and become loose. Over time, this could cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Do not drive your side-by-side UTV until the recall repairs have been completed. Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the steering shaft and pinch bolts.

  • Fuel System#2017314

    5 units affected

On certain side-by-side UTV’s, the fuel pump retainer plate may fail, causing a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could cause a fire resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a revised fuel pump retainer plate. Note: In the interim, owners are advised to stop riding their UTV until the recall repair has been performed.

  • Structure#2016356

    939 units affected

On certain utility-terrain vehicles (UTV's), under certain circumstances, a foreign object could puncture the front floor cover which could increase the risk of injury to occupants. Correction: Dealers will install front floor cover guards and replace damaged, unserviceable floor covers if the vehicle exhibits no sign of misuse, abuse or accidents.
