Transport Canada recalls

02
  • Structure#2023604

    16 units affected

Issue: On certain RV trailers, a window may be incorrectly marked as an emergency exit window. This could prevent or delay the occupants from escaping the trailer in an emergency. Safety Risk: A window that's incorrectly marked as an emergency exit could create confusion and increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the red handle and red screen knob with black ones. The dealer will also remove the exit label.

  • Accessories#2022491

    35 units affected

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the propane (LP) line for the refrigerator may be incorrectly routed inside the underbelly of the trailer. As a result, a propane leak could cause a gas buildup in the underbelly of the trailer. Safety Risk: A buildup of propane could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: None of the affected trailers have been sold to retail customers. Jayco will instruct dealers to reroute the refrigerator propane line under the trailer before delivery.
