Issue: On certain RV trailers, the propane (LP) regulator could fail. If this happens, high-pressure propane could reach the appliances. Note: This recall is an expansion of recall 2021-367. This recall only affects trailers equipped with a Winntec model 6020 propane regulator. Safety Risk: Unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire. Corrective Action: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the propane (LP) regulator.

Issue: On certain fifth-wheel trailers, incorrect bolts were used to install the fuel tank. If the tank is not properly attached, it could separate from the trailer and create a fuel leak. Safety Risk: Leaking fuel in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of a fire. Additionally, if the fuel tank separates from the trailer, it could also create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the six bolts that secure the fuel tank brace. Any incorrect bolts will be replaced as required.

On certain travel trailers, the steel strap installed to secure to propane tank may have been manufactured incorrectly. This could allow the propane tank to become unsecured and come out of its compartment, which could result in a fire or explosion causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective steel straps.
