06
  • Visual System#2024494

    189 units affected

Issue: On certain motorhomes, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to an FCA dealership to update the radio software.

  • Seats And Restraints#2024258

    5 units affected

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the driver seat belt buckle may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the reminder chime and visual tell-tale may stay on, even if your seat belt is buckled. Safety Risk: A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly could create confusion. Not wearing your seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to an FCA dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver seat belt buckle.

  • Accessories#2024183

    49 units affected

Issue: On certain motorhomes, propane gas could leak from the liquid level gauge if the propane tank is filled with the valve in the open position. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Action: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the propane tank valve.

  • Electrical#2024141

    113 units affected

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the high-voltage battery relay contactors could become stuck in the closed position. As a result, the battery pack could overheat while charging. Safety Risk: A battery that overheats can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to update the high-voltage battery software. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the high-voltage battery pack.

  • Structure#2023327

    26 units affected

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the solar panel could separate from the roof while driving. Safety Risk: A solar panel that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your motorhome to a dealership to install new solar panel brackets on the roof.

  • Fuel System#2023268

    139 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, a fuel hose on the generator may not be properly secured and could leak fuel. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with an Onan QG 2800i generator. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel hose between the generator fuel filter and injection pump module. The fuel hose and clamps will be replaced, if necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Jayco advises that you should not use the generator until the recall inspection is completed.
