Note: This recall only affects trailers equipped with a Winntec model 6020 propane regulator. Safety Risk: Unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire. Corrective Action: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the propane (LP) regulator.

Issue: On certain fifth-wheel trailers, the power awning does not have proper fuse protection. As a result, an electrical overload or short circuit could cause the wiring to overheat. Safety Risk: If the wiring overheats, there could be an increased risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have a fuse holder and 5-A fuse installed in the power awning circuit.

This could allow the propane tank to become unsecured and come out of its compartment, which could result in a fire or explosion causing injury and/or damage to property.
