  Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, in certain conditions, the connection between the fuse and fuse mount for the blower motor could overheat. Safety Risk: A fuse and wiring that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Mercedes-Benz dealership to replace and relocate the blower motor fuse and its wiring. To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you should only operate the blower in manual mode, and not use either the highest or lowest temperature settings until the recall repairs have been completed.

  Issue: In certain conditions, the motorhome could roll-away after placing the transmission in the "P" (Park) position if the parking brake is not set. Note: You should always follow the parking procedure in the owner's manual, and set the parking brake each time that you park. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that rolls away could create a risk of a crash or an injury. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Mercedes-Benz dealership to update the software of various control units.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes equipped with front swivel-seats, the wiring harness under the seat may not be properly secured. As a result, the wiring harness could be damaged when the seat is moved. If this happens, the side airbag may not work properly in a crash. It could also cause the side airbag to deploy suddenly without a crash. Note: If the wiring to the side airbag is damaged, the SRS light will stay on in the instrument cluster. Safety Risk: An airbag that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the routing of the seat wiring harness. The dealer will add clips or cable ties to properly secure the wiring harness to the seat, if necessary.

  Issue: Certain vehicles were delivered with an operator’s manual that has incorrect information about the automatic parking function (Auto-P). Specifically, the transmission does not automatically shift to Park when the driver unbuckles their seat belt or leaves their seat while the vehicle is stationary or moving at very low speed. If the driver relies on the Auto-P feature in these situations, the vehicle could keep moving or roll away. Safety Risk: Sudden and unexpected movement of the vehicle could create a risk of injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will provide owners with a booklet that properly describes the Auto-P function.

  Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Entegra Launch, Qwest, Jayco Melbourne, and Melbourne Prestige motorhomes. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) blower motor circuit may be inadequate, which can allow the wiring harness to overheat.

  Risk: A wiring harness that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

  Remedy: Owners are advised to only operate the HVAC front blower in manual (not automatic) mode whenever the engine is on. Do not use the maximum blower or lowest/highest temperature settings until the remedy is performed. Dealers will relocate and replace the fuse and wiring harness, free of charge.   Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Melbourne and Melbourne Prestige motorhomes. The instrument cluster may fail to display any information when the vehicle is started.

  Risk: A blank instrument panel will not show critical information, such as vehicle speed, fuel gauge, warning messages, and warning lights, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will update the instrument cluster software on the affected vehicles, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 15, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is Daimler 23V-204.

  Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Entegra Launch, Launch LE, Qwest, Jayco Melbourne, Melbourne Prestige, Terrain, and Terrain LE motorhomes. The guide bushing on the parking pawl may fatigue, which can cause the parking pawl not to engage and result in a vehicle rollaway.

  Risk: Vehicle rollaway increases the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will update the software of the electronic stability, transmission control, direct select module, and electronic ignition switch control units, free of charge. • SUSPENSION:FRONT:SPRINGS:TORSION BAR#22V663000September 1, 2022

  Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Entegra Qwest, Jayco Melbourne, and Melbourne Prestige motorhomes. The shim on the torsion bar was incorrectly installed between the nut and the torsion bar, rather than between the ball stud and the torsion bar.

  Risk: An incorrectly assembled torsion bar may fail at the connection between the torsion bar and linkage, resulting in a loss of vehicle stability, and increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will replace the torsion bar linkage and correct the position of the shim, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 29, 2022. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is MB 22V-131.

  Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Jayco Melbourne, Melbourne Prestige and Entegra Qwest motorhomes built on Sprinter chassis and equipped with swivel seats. The wiring harnesses for the front seats may have been routed incorrectly and could become jammed and damaged in the swivel seat frames.

  Risk: If the wiring harness is damaged, the side air bag within the seat may deploy unexpectedly or not deploy as designed in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.

  Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter dealers will inspect the wire harness routing for both front seats and will repair the wiring and add clips or cable ties as needed, free of charge.   Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Entegra Qwest and Jayco Melbourne and Melbourne Prestige motorhomes built on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The rear part of the fender liner on the front axle may contact and chafe the brake hose, possibly resulting in a loss of brake fluid.

  Risk: Loss of brake fluid can extend the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and Mercedes Sprinter dealers will inspect and replace the brake hoses, and the fender liners will be modified, free of charge. The recall began July 14, 2020. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137.

  Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Entegra Qwest and 2019-2021 Jayco Melbourne and Melbourne Prestige Class C motorhomes built on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The Operator's Manual may not contain the correct information about how the automatic parking function ("Auto-P") operates.

  Risk: If the driver relies on the Auto-P function as described in the Operator's Manual, vehicle rollaway or movement may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and Mercedes-Benz or Freightliner Sprinter dealers will provide the correct description of the Auto-P function for the Operator's Manual, free of charge.
