    Issue: On certain RV trailers, the propane (LP) regulator could fail. If this happens, high-pressure propane could reach the appliances. Note: This recall is an expansion of recall 2021-367. This recall only affects trailers equipped with a Winntec model 6020 propane regulator. Safety Risk: Unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire. Corrective Action: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the propane (LP) regulator.

    On certain travel trailers, the LED ceiling lights produce extreme high temperatures during normal use which could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the LED ceiling lights.

    On certain fifth wheels, travel trailers and motorhomes, the electrical motor for the awning could become damaged, allowing the awning to unfurl unexpectedly. As a result, the awning could strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the awning motor.

    On certain fifth wheel trailers, the power converter may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fail. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the power converter stab rail.

  • Label#2012141

    15 units affected

    On certain travel trailers, the Compliance label and the Tire and Loading Information label do not contain correct tire information. The labels incorrectly indicate a load range of ST235/80R16D instead of ST235/80R16E, and a tire pressure of 448 kPa (65 psi) instead of 552 kPa (80 psi). Overloaded and/or under inflated tires may lead to poor vehicle handling characteristics, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.
