On certain vehicles, the instrument cluster could go blank intermittently and be unable to display important information. This could result in the driver not being aware of vehicle speed or any malfunction lights turning on, which could affect vehicle performance and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the vehicle software.

Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The certification label may not contain the required National Safety Mark nor a statement of conformity, which is contrary to the requirements of the regulations. Correction: Dealers will replace the certification label with a corrected label.

Certain vehicles may have been equipped with a passenger frontal airbag inflator that does not meet specifications. This could cause the passenger frontal airbag to fail to deploy in the event of a crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the front passenger seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the passenger frontal airbag assembly.

U.S. NHTSA recalls
02- ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL#17V678000
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Jaguar XF and F-Pace, 2016-2017 Jaguar XJ and 2018 Jaguar XE vehicles. The instrument cluster (IC) may intermittently go blank.
Risk: A blank instrument cluster will not show important information like vehicle speed, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle software, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin December 19, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H056.
- AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:PASSENGER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE#16V943000
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Jaguar XJ vehicles manufactured September 12, 2016, to October 26, 2016. The affected vehicles have a front passenger air bag inflator initiator that may fail to ignite during a crash, preventing the air bag from deploying.
Risk: In the event of a crash of sufficient severity, the front passenger air bag may not deploy as required, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front passenger air bag, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 20, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is J080.
