Issue: On certain vehicles, the driveshaft may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the driveshaft could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, if the vehicle is parked and the parking brake isn't applied, the vehicle could roll away. Note: This recall only affects two-wheel-drive (2WD) models. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that rolls away could also create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driveshaft.

Correction: Revised labels will be mailed to owners along with instructions for proper installation. If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a dealer for installation.
