02- Heater And Defroster#2016570
150 units affected
On certain buses, the formed heater hose going to the driver’s heater could rupture allowing hot coolant to leak into the operators foot area. If hot coolant were to come in contact with the operator, it could result in a burn injury and, depending on the driver’s reaction, could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the formed heater hose.
- Structure#2016074
135 units affected
On certain buses, the hood latch straps used to latch the hood closed may become elongated and not return to their original specified length. This could cause the hood latch to not stay in the latched position while driving, and/or the hood opening unexpectedly during vehicle braking, which could could compromise the driver’s ability to see the road and its users. These issues could result in a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the suspect hood latch straps with certified hood latch straps.
