Issue: On certain motorcycle tires, the rubber may crack in the tread grooves. Over time, these cracks could lead to a tire failure. Note: This recall only affects certain motorcycles equipped with Continental TKC 80 tires. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: KTM and Husqvarna will notify owners by mail to advise you of this problem. You should contact an authorized KTM, Husqvarna or Continental Tire dealer if you have these tires. All tires affected by this recall will be replaced.
- Powertrain#2021582
1,539 units affected
Issue: On certain motorcycles, a bellow gasket in the clutch slave cylinder can be damaged. If this happens, the clutch may not disengage when the clutch lever is pulled in. This can cause the motorcycle to continue moving forward when you try to stop. It can also cause the motorcycle to move if you start it when the transmission is not in neutral (N). Safety Risk: A clutch that does not disengage could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. A motorcycle that moves suddenly when you try to start or stop it can create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect and replace the clutch slave cylinder.
- Fuel System#2021295
30 units affected
Issue: On certain 701 Enduro LR motorcycles, the fuel lines could rub against the front fuel tank. Over time, this could cause damage to the fuel lines and cause a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Husqvarna will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the fuel lines.
