Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Honda dealer during recall O38 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-345) may not be effective. As a result, certain vehicles require a second repair. On certain vehicles, moisture could enter the rearview camera and cause it not to work properly. If this happens, the rearview image may be distorted or not display at all. Also, the camera image may not appear in certain bright light conditions. Note: This recall replaces recall O38 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-345). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display properly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rearview camera.

  • Seats And Restraints#2026251

    12,371 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, the weight sensor for the front passenger seat may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the passenger-front airbag and knee airbag could deploy in a crash that doesn't require them to. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-059. If the weight sensor fails, the SRS warning light would turn on in the instrument panel. Safety Risk: An airbag system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. As a result, the rearview camera image may not appear correctly on the display screen. Canadian regulations allow only certain view modes to be displayed when the vehicle is reversing. Note: Vehicles that received a software update previously under a Honda product update, campaign no. P01 - 'Incorrect Rear View Camera View Mode', don't require this repair. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display the correct view mode could reduce a driver's field of view behind the vehicle. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and have sent a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the vehicle software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Honda dealership.

  • Fuel System#2024262

    291,588 units affected

Issue: This recall is for low-pressure fuel pumps installed on certain vehicles or sold at dealerships as a replacement part. On certain vehicles, the low-pressure fuel pump could fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake System" and 404, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."

Risk: If the rear wheel speeds cannot be correctly monitored, the anti-lock brake system may not engage properly to prevent the wheels from locking up, increasing the risk of crash.

Remedy: Braun has notified owners, and dealers will inspect and correct the rear wheel speed sensor harnesses, if necessary, free of charge. The recall began on April 4, 2019. Owners may contact Braun customer service at 1-800-488-0359.

Risk: A reduction of braking performance increases the risk of a crash.

Risk: In the event of a crash, if the air bags or seatbelt pretensioners do not function as intended, there would be an increased risk of injury.

Remedy: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the SRS unit, free of charge. The recall began November 8, 2018. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are B2R, C2P, and Z2Q.
