Issue: On certain motorcycles, the engine crankcase bolt may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, oil could leak. Safety Risk: An oil leak near the rear tire could affect handling and control of the motorcycle. An oil leak could also create a hazard for others. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the engine crankcase bolt.
