Some motorcycles may be equipped with drive chains that contain improperly heat-treated outer drive plates that may break during use. If a chain outer drive plate were to break, the motorcycle could unexpectedly lose driving force, increasing the risk of a crash causing personal injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the drive chain.
