Safety Risk: A headlight that flickers or shuts off could cause reduced visibility and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the headlight.

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the right-side engine crankcase cover could leak oil onto the exhaust pipe and/or the rear tire. Safety Risk: An oil leak onto the rear tire could affect handling and control of the motorcycle. This could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, oil that leaks onto an exhaust pipe can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a Honda motorcycle dealership to replace the right-side engine crankcase cover.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2018-2025 CB300R motorcycles. The headlights may flicker or shut off while driving.
Risk: Loss of headlight illumination can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the headlight assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KS0.
