On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain motorhomes, the 15 amp fuse in the high beam headlight electrical circuit may open under normal operating conditions, disabling the headlamps without warning. Loss of headlamp illumination, should it occur during a rainy day, or during hours of darkness, could compromise the driver's ability to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will modify the high beam headlight circuit to accommodate a 25 amp fuse.

REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2009-2010 and 2012-2014 Holiday Rambler Ambassador, 2010 and 2013-2014 Endeavor, 2009-2010 Neptune, 2010 Scepter, and 2011 Trip diesel motorhomes, equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Risk: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: REV will notify owners, and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin January 18, 2018. SEE THE ABOVE LIST FOR MODELS. THE FRONT WINDSHIELD SHADE MAY SEPARATE FROM THE CABIN BODY WITHOUT WARNING, POSSIBLY IMPAIRING THE DRIVER'S ABILITY TO SEE THE ROADWAY.

NAVISTAR IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 MONACO VESTA AND HOLIDAY RAMBLER TRIP RECREATIONAL VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM MAY 28, 2010, THROUGH MAY 18, 2011. THE FUSE IN THE HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHT ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT MAY BLOW UNDER NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS DISABLING THE HEADLIGHTS WITHOUT WARNING, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN REDUCED DRIVER VISIBILITY.
Risk: REDUCED DRIVER VISIBILITY INCREASES THE RISK OF A CRASH, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH.

NAVISTAR IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 HOLIDAY RAMBLER TRIP AND MONACO VESTA RECREATIONAL VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM FEBRUARY 25, 2010, THROUGH APRIL 4, 2011, AND EQUIPPED WITH A MAXXFORCE 7 ENGINE. A CAP ON THE RETURN FUEL VALVE MAY FALL OFF ALLOWING AIR TO BE DRAWN INTO THE FUEL SYSTEM POSSIBLY RESULTING IN ENGINE HARD START, NO START, OR STALL CONDITIONS.
Risk: ENGINE STALL ON THE ROADWAY INCREASES THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH.
