On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers, the certification label may not contain the correct Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). During manufacturing, the data used for calculating the weight of the trailer may have been incorrect. This could lead to vehicle overloading, potentially resulting in tire failure and/or causing damage to the trailer and affecting vehicle handling, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation. Alternatively, owners can visit a Highland Dealer to have the new certification label applied. For the Toy Hauler model, dealers will install new axles and tires with a greater load capacity, as well as new labels.
