    3 units affected

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the receiver for the removable step on the side of the trailer may not have been attached properly. As a result, the receiver could detach from the bracket and cause a person to fall. Safety risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Heartland RV advises that you should check that the receiver for the step bracket is properly secured until the recall repairs have been completed. Heartland RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the receiver for the removable step.
