    Issue: On certain motorcycles, the brake lamp(s) could stay on after you release the brakes. Safety Risk: A brake lamp that stays on when the motorcycle isn't braking could cause confusion for other drivers and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to update the motorcycle software. For Trike models, the dealer will also replace the brake switch.
