Issue: On certain motorcycles, a software problem in the on-board charging (OBC) system could cause the drive system to shut down. If this happens, the electric motor could stop running and you may not be able to restart it. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the rear wheel could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to update the OBC system software.
